Sawyer graduated from Preschool this past May. He was very excited to graduate because that meant he was on to bigger and better things, namely Kindergarten. My kids have all attended our city preschool and they have quite a to-do for the graduation. It is a bit over the top but I think its fun. (My Dad thinks its pretty ridiculous they do so much for the graduation at this age, he said, “Poor kids, its all downhill from here..”) It is pretty silly but its fun. They have the kids wear real caps and gowns and the event is held at the minor league baseball stadium in our city. Here are some pictures of his big day.
It was a bit dark after it was over so these pictures aren’t very good but I made a candy lei for Sawyer out of his favorite candy- Airheads. He had to wear a beach outfit because his class performed a “Surfin’ USA” dance on stage during the graduation. He felt pretty special and I was glad because he often feels left out with all of Maddie and Carter’s activities.
