Carter had a very eventful Spring. Earlier this year he had a UTI and was referred to a Urologist who determined that Carter needed a small surgical procedure done under anesthesia. His surgery was done at a local Surgery Center and it was quick and for the most part painless. He was actually excited to learn about all the neat things in the Surgery Center. He was asking lots of questions and the nurses said he was the best patient. Who knows maybe he’ll be a doctor someday!
Checked in bright and early in the morning- not one bit nervous!
“Hey Mom I look like the ‘Lunch Lady’!”
Just before heading to the OR, still not nervous. Mom on the other hand was feeling anxious.
Less than an hour later the surgery was a success and Carter was all ready for crackers and juice.
Maddie wanted to take Carter out for ice cream the next day, her treat!
