Grampy's Birthday at Disneyland

As you probably already know this year on your birthday you can get into Disneyland for free. And you can even convert the value of that ticket to an Annual pass making it a whole lot cheaper. Monday was my Dad's birthday and he decided to take advantage of that deal and go to Disneyland for the day. Since I have a pass and a friend had an extra ticket I could use, The kids and I decided to tag along with he and my mom.

We had a great time and luckily were able to get on plenty of rides without a wait because of my Mom's current condition with her Knee replacements. Being Spring Break it was packed, we didn't mind because we didn't have to wait. The weather was gorgeous, it was just perfect!

I was so fortunate to be able to spend my Dad's birthday with him! Here are some pictures of our fun day!

Fun Family Night!

It's been a while since we've gone out together as a family. The kids have saved up their money to go to Build-a-bear for quite a while. Carter was especially excited because he had never been to Build-a-bear before. When Chris got home from work we headed down to the mall and let the kids pick out their bears and one outfit. Sawyer already had his bear so we had it re-stuffed (it has been washed several times and was really saggy) and he picked out a Dodger t-shirt for it. Maddie picked out a High School Musical bear with a t-shirt and Carter made a dog and picked a Lakers uniform for it.

For dinner we went to one of our favorite places, Outback. We had a good time but Chris and I both agree that Sawyer is still pretty hard going out to eat. We really don't take the kids out much anymore because it is too chaotic with 3 little ones. Maddie and Carter are getting better but Sawyer won't sit down and constantly wants to bug the people behind us. By the time the food came he was ready to go! We still had a good time and enjoyed the delicious food! Next time we'll do fast food!

Spring is here!

On Wednesday is was so warm that we started playing outside with the hose. The kids started getting wet and decided to run in the house and change into their bathing suits. They had so much fun playing in the sprinklers and running around getting wet. We are so glad Spring is here and can't wait to go to the pool!

Never can get enough of Disneyland!

This past month we were able to go to Disneyland a couple of times for Mystery shops. One time we went with my good friend Tiffany but had to leave when it started to rain. We went another day with the whole family. It was so much fun to get there in the morning and stay all day until closing. That is my favorite. No matter how long a day I've had a Disneyland I always get a little sad when I have to leave! I guess I'm just a kid at heart!

Carter had a great season on his Pee-Wee Basketball team. Here are some pictures of him playing.

He had a ton of fun and made some friends. Carter was really good at getting the rebounds and made at least one basket each game. One of the games he actually made 5 baskets! This was his first organized sport and he is looking forward to playing t-ball.

Showstoppers!

Maddie took a fun class at the Cultural Center called Showstoppers. It was taught by a very talented couple. They taught the kids show tunes and some valuable skills. Maddie really enjoyed it and even got to sing a little solo portion at their little showcase. We are so glad that our city offers these types of classes so that Maddie can express her talents.

We've been a little busy...

I can't believe it has been so long since my last post. We've had a little too much of this... going on in our house lately. Everyone is getting better and hopefully done with sickness for a while. Stay tuned for some new posts...
