Disneyland

We went to Disneyland yesterday with Chris and Amanda, Wes and Kristy and my Mom. We had a great time. It was a little drizzly at some points but was overall a very nice day. A little more crowded than we expected but we were able to get on most everything that we wanted to. It took a little convincing but we took Carter on the Matterhorn. He was a little distraught and closed his eyes most of the time. When it was over he was so proud of himself! He said he wasn't even scared. We made Maddie go on Thunder Mountain Railroad. She really dragged her feet and looked pretty freaked out during the ride, she was glad when it was over. I don't know if she'll do it again! Chris had to work so he wasn't able to go with us but we missed him. The kids especially missed going on the Tea cups since Chris is the only person who will ride them. All of my family gets too dizzy. So we had the kids take this picture in the one outside of the ride instead.

Maddie was also very excited to see Mary Poppins and took this picture with her.

Valentines Day

We had a fun Valentines Day with the usual school festivities. Carter had fun bringing his pirate valentines to school. They made sugar cookies and when he got home Sawyer attacked one of the cookies and was covered in frosting. It kept him happy for a few moments so it was worth the clean up. Maddie brought High School Musical valentines to school and was so excited to read through all her valentines when she got home.

Chris and I actually went out on Valentines day which we hadn't done in a while. Chris was actually out of town last year and the year before that Sawyer was still a newborn. So I was pretty excited to go out! We went to dinner at Mimi's and then to a movie, "Definitely, Maybe". From the preview it looked like a cute date movie, but it was not good. I would not recommend seeing it. Oh well, when we got home we fell asleep watching our favorite show, LOST. It was a great day.

Rojo

So Chris and I have been using our laptop for 4 years now and we were ready for a new one. I couldn't even load the latest version of Dentrix on it! So since October I've been looking around and researching. I debated between Dell and some of the other big brands but I had my eye on a really cute computer that was red. I know, I know you should never buy a computer for its color but I just kept on going back to it. Mainly because it was a good price and had great specs. The downside was the brand, at least in my opinion. It is a Gateway. It seems that the company has gone downhill in past years but after doing a lot of research I found that it was worth a try and a great deal, not to mention cute! So anyway after speaking to a lot of different people and researching posts about different brands I found that there are negative things said about every brand and Gateway rates very similarly among the other popular brands. So we went for it! In the Sunday Ad, I discovered that it had gone on sale and yesterday we picked it up! I am in love with it! Vista is a little bit weird but I think I'll like it once I get the hang of it. Now I just have to get all my old stuff transfered over to it! I am so excited to have a new fast computer! It has 3 Gigs of RAM and 250 Gigs storage. All the other specs look great too! So far so good, I hope I don't eat my words! Sorry if this is boring but it has been a big deal for me!

The Big 2-9

This past week I celebrated my 29th birthday! So I am officially in my 30th year now! It seems like so many people are scared to turn 30, but I am actually excited. I think people take you more seriously when you are in your 30's as opposed to your 20's.

I always look forward to my birthday every year. It is so much fun to have a free pass to do whatever I want, or not! (as in changing diapers, taking kids to school, etc.) Chris stayed home from work and it was so much fun just being together. After he took Maddie to school, we went to the gym and had Carter and Sawyer go to the kids club there. Sawyer didn't do to well and kept crying, but they didn't page me, they paged Chris of course, because it was my birthday!

After that we went to Lunch with Mom and the kids (we picked Maddie up early). Later that evening Mom watched the kids while Chris and I went to see "27 dresses". It was very cute, but not my favorite of the "Wedding" movies. One of the most exciting parts of the day was "LOST"! If you are a "Lost" fan you now that it started up again! So after our movie, we curled up on the couch and watched our favorite show! I was getting so tired of the writers strike and not having any good shows to watch, so now I have something to look forward to.

The next day we went out to dinner with Wes and Kristy and Mom and Dad. We went to one of my favorite places, WoodRanch, for yummy tri tip. Mom made a delicious chocolate cake also! Then on Saturday we went to dinner and a movie with Chris' family; Faye, Kelli and David. Halli watched the kids for us so that was very nice. We went to my favorite Mexican place, Tio's, and we saw the movie "The Bucket List". I thought the movie was very good.

All in all I had a wonderful birthday! Thanks to my wonderful husband and family! Love you!
