Our little Firecracker!

The past few months Maddie took part in a Cheerleading program. It was really her first official organized program. She really enjoyed it and took it very seriously. She performed at the Cucamonga Quakes game (along with 200 hundred other look alikes, but of course she was the cutest one!) and for fourth of July she got to march in a parade in Ontario down Euclid avenue. She had a blast and wants to do it again! When I asked her if she wanted to play soccer next she paused for a moment and then said, "I think I'd like to cheer at a soccer game!" She will probably start taking Dance next and then maybe do Cheer again in the Fall. She is our little performer and doesn't even get nervous being in front of tons of people!

Maddie is already planning her performance in the school talent show next year!

Jones Family Reunion

Tonight we had a very fun time at the Jones Family Reunion. We haven't had a reunion in several years, so it was very fun seeing all the new little cousins running around. There were tons of little kids. We had it at Chris and Louise's Pool area, we had a barbeque and plenty of goodies! It was a great time. I didn't get too many pictures but here are a few that I did get. It was great to be with cousins that I hadn't seen in a while and reconnect.

Sawyer's Teeth

This past week Sawyer has been trying to get his top two teeth in. They look a little funny right now, just barely breaking the surface. I haven't got much sleep lately, these teeth have had him up 4 times a night. Last night was the first time in 2 weeks that he slept all the way through the night. He is our little Sunshine! We love him so!

Summer Fun!

I finally downloaded my pictures from my camera and I had some pretty cute ones so I thought I'd post them for all to see! As you can see we have been having a very fun Summer!

These pictures were taken in June when we went to San Luis Obispo while Chris was working up there.

I was pretty bored during the day so I took the kids to lots of parks, Sawyer really liked the Baby swing,

As did Carter...

There was a really beautiful park that we went to with a stream and this pretty little bridge. The kids loved it. We went to the Farmers Market one night and Maddie enjoyed getting her face painted.

We absolutely love the central coast and have decided it would be the perfect place to retire. For now it is just a fun place to vacation.

Wicked is Totally "wicked"

Last night I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the broadway musical "Wicked"with my Mom, Heather and Kristy. I absolutely loved every minute of it. The script, songs, and performance was absolutely incredible. What a great opportunity to see such a wonderful display of talent and creativity. I would highly recommend that everyone see this production. It is well worth the money spent and then some!

Hi, I am new at this...

This is my first Blog, I've read plenty but never had my own. Pretty exciting. Back in April, we went with Chris to San Luis Obispo on a little trip. One of the cool sites the kids really enjoyed was "Gum Alley". Since the 50's people have been sticking gum in this alley. Pretty gross. The kids enjoyed adding their gum to the collection. I have more pictures that I haven't downloaded from my camera, I'll post more recent pictures next time.

New stuff going on... I am helping plan my 10 year high school reunion. I am contemplating joining our HOA board of directors. Maddie broke our 32" HDTV when she got mad and hit the screen. We have no TV in our living room. Quite an adjustment, let's see how long we can last. Carter is finally potty trained HALLELUJAH. The hardest thing I have ever done.
