Beach Day

After the Family Reunion in Utah, Heather and her kids drove down to California to spend another week with us.  We didn’t waste any time and went to the beach!   With the 4th of July 5K around the corner we thought it would be fun to have the kids run with us on the beach boardwalk before enjoying the beach for the day.  The kids ran three miles and then changed into their suits for some fun on the sand.  Here’s a pic I snapped of the kids after their run. 

Sawyers buddy Dylan and his bro Aidan were at the beach too!   The weather was great and we had a fantastic time at the beach!

Who can resist this darling little Stella!  She was in love with the water.  I’ve never quite seen anything like it.  When a wave would come splash her she would giggle and grin from ear to ear!

Aunt Amanda who had just moved in to Huntington Beach joined us for the day. 

There was plenty of boogie boarding with Chris and Amanda’s, and Kristy’s boards. 

After we were all beached out we went to dinner at Café Rio and then headed over to Chris and Amanda’s to see their new place.  We stuck around for a while to avoid the traffic coming home.  All in all it was an awesome day!
